Farming for Life

Farming for Life, a 16-lesson Book of Hope and Leader’s Guide combination, is an adapted version of the Foundations for Farming program for use within the classroom rather than the garden.

Age: 9-13 Years Old

  • Understanding from Scripture that God sent his Son, Jesus, to save people from their sins, and that he works through people to change the earth for good.
  • Understanding of conservation methods of farming.
  • Their desire to apply God’s gifts in their own lives and to use them to improve the agricultural and spiritual life in their communities.

A Better Way to Life

A Better Way to Life

This book is designed to help teens dig deeper into God's Word and into topics that are important in their daily lives. Some relevant topics discussed in this course are: social media addiction, sexuality, and mental health.

Age: 13-18 Years Old

  • Teens will recognize that they are made by God in his image, and their identity, worth, and purpose are rooted in this truth.
  • Teens will identify God as the ultimate source of all the truth and recognize the Bible as God's trustworthy Word which is full of guidance for our lives.
  • Teens will recall how God's Word reveals the truth about key issues in their lives (sexuality/gender, mental health, social media addiction, identity etc.)

A World Without Sickness

A World Without Sickness

A workshop for awareness about menstruation and menstrual hygiene, so that girls know what to do when it hits them. Knowing what will happen during puberty is the first step towards adapting well to adolescence.

Age: 9-13 Years Old

  • Grow in their understanding that God loves and values them and has demonstrated His great love in sending Jesus to cleanse them from their sins.
  • Recall healthy habits that can be incorporated into their daily lives, to help prevent significant diseases or health concerns.
  • Practise good health and hygiene habits in their daily lives and share what they have learnt with others to affect the overall health of their families and communities.

Called to Thrive

Called to Thrive

This programme helps young people learn about their unique strengths, passions, and resources. They will work through what Scripture teaches about God's call on their life and his vision for how they are prepared for good works.

Age: 16-21 Years Old

  • Demonstrate an understanding of God's call to work and how it impacts their present thinking, confidence, and character.
  • Engage in activities that include practical training and skills.
  • Understand God's call to work is a call to thrive as they follow him.

Empowered

Empowered

The Empowered Worldview program was designed to empower children to live out their God-given purpose and make a difference in the world. God has created each child in His image and has a good plan for their lives.

Age: 9-13 Years Old

  • Understand that although the world may be broken, the Lord has empowered them with a purpose to make a difference in it.
  • Learn how to use Scripture, prayer, and community to discover and live out their corporate and individual purpose.

Light in the Dark

Light in the Dark

This program was designed to tell the story of a little girl called Zuri. Zuri was like many children across Africa who live in fear, however as she grew in her understanding of who God is, she was able to make baby steps to let go of fear and embrace the love God had for her.

Age: 6-10 Years Old

  • Describe how Jesus’ love builds their confidence and shows them God’s victory.
  • Recognize that it is okay to feel afraid, but God does not want us to stay in that fear.
